Quinnipiac’s graduate nursing program has received a federal training grant for the fourth consecutive year from the Health Resources and Health Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

The grant is for $27,244 and provides scholarships for students pursuing a master of science in nursing at Quinnipiac.

“The federal training grant provides very welcome scholarship support for our graduate nursing students at Quinnipiac,” said Jeanne LeVasseur, director of the master of science in nursing program.

“The federal guidelines stipulate that students are eligible only if they are attending school full time or in the final year of the graduate nursing program. We try to disburse the funds to all our eligible students.”

Quinnipiac’s graduate nursing program, accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, offers three tracks: family nurse practitioner, adult nurse practitioner and forensic nurse clinical specialist.
