Elizabeth E. Logue of Moorestown, N.J., a sophomore advertising major in the School of Business, has designed a new patch for Mount Carmel, Engine No. 5 of the Hamden Fire Department.

Working under the direction of Cynthia Greco, a designer in the Public Affairs Department at Quinnipiac, Logue collaborated with members of Engine 5 to design the “First Due to QU” patch, which was officially presented on April 30 at the TD Banknorth Sports Center, the home of Quinnipiac’s Division 1 men’s and women’s ice hockey and basketball teams. Engine 5 is responsible for being the first responder to all emergencies at Quinnipiac.
