Living at Quinnipiac

At Quinnipiac, college is a living/learning environment. When you enroll, you immediately find yourself immersed in a supportive academic environment that offers a home away from home.

Residential Life
Approximately 4,000 students make up the residential community of Quinnipiac University. Students live in traditional residence halls, suites and apartments on the Mount Carmel Campus, houses and apartments in University owned off-campus properties, and apartment-style residence halls on the York Hill Campus.

Quinnipiac housing is available for three years for incoming freshman. Transfer students are currently eligible for two years of housing. With the opening of several new residential areas on our York Hill Campus, many seniors are now living on campus, as well as in University-owned houses in the surrounding area. Campus Dining
Students and faculty members dine at Café Q, a recently renovated dining hall located just a short walk from the residence halls in the Carl Hansen Student Center on the Mount Carmel Campus. A second dining hall, located inside the Rocky Top Student Center on the York Hill Campus, opened in Fall 2010. Dining options are also available at the Bobcat Den on the Mount Carmel Campus and at the cafe on the North Haven Campus.

Brian Farrell
Freshman Profile
Just two weeks after arriving, Brian Farrell had his own show on the campus radio station. “That was a big bonus, to get so much experience so quickly.”
