At Quinnipiac, college is a living/learning environment. When you enroll, you immediately find yourself immersed in a supportive academic environment that offers a home away from home.
Residential Life
Approximately 4,000 students make up the residential community of Quinnipiac University. Students live in traditional residence halls, suites and apartments on the Mount Carmel Campus, houses and apartments in University owned off-campus properties, and apartment-style residence halls on the York Hill Campus.
Quinnipiac housing is available for three years for incoming freshman. Transfer students are currently eligible for two years of housing. As we expand our University housing on the York Hill Campus, many of our seniors will be accommodated as more space becomes available. Currently, many seniors move off campus and live in a condominium or apartment in nearby Hamden, North Haven, Cheshire or Wallingford. More about residential life…
Campus Dining
Students and faculty members dine at our main dining hall, Café Q, located just a short walk from the residence halls in the Carl Hansen Student Center. A second dining hall is under construction on the York Hill Campus. Dining options are also available at the Bobcat Den on the Mount Carmel Campus and at the cafe on the North Haven Campus.
