The Quinnipiac University Financial Aid Office works with all applicants to assure that they receive the maximum state and federal aid for which they are eligible. In addition, the Office seeks to coordinate institutional aid resources to make a Quinnipiac education affordable. Approximately 70 percent of the student body receives financial aid through a combination of grants, scholarships, student loans, and on-campus jobs.
The University offers approximately 600 merit-based scholarships to incoming freshmen (admission application deadline February 1) for which no financial need is required. Students interested in being considered for financial aid should indicate so on section 3 of the admissions application.
All students interested in applying for financial aid are required to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which can be completed online at: www.fafsa.ed.gov. The university does not currently require the Profile form. All incoming students must have their FAFSA "date stamped" by the federal processor by March 1 and all returning students must have their FAFSA date stamped by April 1 in order to be given full consideration for financial aid.
