Joan Isaac Mohr

Joan Isaac Mohr, vice president and dean of admissions, heads up the offices of admissions and financial aid. Joan has 35+ years of admissions experience (16 of those at Quinnipiac) and is pleased to work with such an excellent and experienced staff. Her interest in Admissions began when she was a tour guide during her undergraduate days on Long Island.

Al Carbone, associate dean of admissions, and Quinnipiac alum, visits high schools and students throughout the state of New Jersey. Al was a recipient of the 2007 Quinnipiac Center for Excellence in Service to Students award, recognizing the many accomplishments in his 35+ years of service.

Favorite hobby- working in the garden and supporting Quinnipiac men's ice hockey! Go Bobcats!

Heidi Farber

Heidi Erickson, senior associate director of admissions, is responsible for travel coverage in eastern Massachusetts. Heidi visits schools and students in areas east of Route 495 including the Boston vicinity and areas of Cape Cod. Heidi coordinates our on campus events such as Open Houses, Admitted Student Days and counselor visits.

Heidi just completed her 16th year at Quinnipiac!

Stephanie Gonzalez, assistant director of admissions and multicultural recruitment, is a 2007 graduate of Quinnipiac. She majored in public relations with a minor in Spanish. She visits high schools and reads files of students in Connecticut, New York (Brooklyn, Queen) Pennsylvania and Puerto Rico.

Kanicka Ingram, associate director of admissions and director of multicultural recruitment, visits high schools in New York , particularly in New York City and the Bronx, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland and the Washington DC area. Kanicka's enjoying her first year as a new mom to son Jaxon!

Jim Kirby, senior associate director of admissions, and a Quinnipiac alum, visits high schools and meets with students on Long Island, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam counties plus other areas within New York state. Jim also reviews applications from international students and U.S. students living abroad.

Carla Knowlton

Carla Knowlton, director of admissions, is responsible for the "Ocean State" of Rhode Island, long with a portion of Connecticut travels and folder review. She's coordinated our efforts to go 'paperless' in 2009 as we begin using document imaging to organize our applications!

Paul Krsiak, assistant director of admissions is a recent graduate of Quinnipiac in 2007. Paul came to Quinnipiac from Vermont, majored in management and is finishing up our graduate program in health care management in the MBA program. Paul travels in Vermont, New Hampshire, New York and Massachusetts and oversees the employment of our 70+ tour guides and student workers along with Michael Plourd.

Richard Kuchicicki

Richard Kuchcicki, admissions counselor/graduate student, recently graduated (2008) with a degree in health and science studies. Rich hosts many of our middle and secondary school class visits, interviews prospective students, and enjoys giving presentations to our visitors at group information sessions and Open House programs. Rich is from Long Island and currently in a graduate online program in organizational leadership in higher education through the School of Business at Quinnipiac.

Bill Romano, associate director of admissions, can be found traveling in Maine, parts of California, Colorado, Texas and Ohio. He reviews files from a variety of 'distant' states. Bill is a graduate of Quinnipiac where he starred as a member of the Quinnipiac basketball team, and then played professionally overseas. He's 6'9" so you'll definitely find him in a crowd.

Joanne Robertson

Joanne Robertson, assistant director of admissions and transcript evaluator, reviews all college transcripts with an eye toward the University Core Curriculum requirements. She then passes those evaluations on to the specific department for their final evaluation and coordinates the evaluation process for all transfer students. Her twin sons will begin at Quinnipiac this fall.

Mary Wargo is director of transfer and part-time admissions. Please view a list of the national fairs and transfer days that Mary and the other Quinnipiac admissions counselors will be covering during the upcoming travel season.

David Beaton

David Beaton, part-time professional staff member who's also a full time fireman! Dave had spent 10+ years working full time in admissions. He often speaks at Group Information Sessions, and attends college nights and Open Houses. He primarily reads applications from Massachusetts. Hopefully you'll never see him during his full time job!

Jeanne Liu

Jeanne Liu, part-time professional staff member who formerly worked in the Office of Residence Life at Quinnipiac. She also teaches a section of QU 101. Jeanne interviews students and reads primarily Connecticut applications, as well as attends college nights and Open Houses.

Elizabeth Ludovico

Elizabeth Ludovico, associate director of admissions, is a graduate of Quinnipiac. Liz travels in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, reads primarily Connecticut applications, and attends college nights and Open Houses, as well as interviews students and hosts our Group Information Sessions. You may also meet her on one of the monthly Quinnipiac 'chats'. No, she and Katie aren't sisters - they met each other as freshmen roommates, and later married brothers!

Katie Ludovico

Katie Ludovico, associate director of admissions, is a graduate of Quinnipiac. Michael Plourd

Michael Plourd, admissions counselor/graduate student is continuing to work in the Admissions Office after years of giving tours and talking with families. Michael is from Southington CT, studied abroad in Ireland as part of his undergraduate experience, majored in communications and is studying for his master's in Organizational Leadership. Michael manages our student workers and tour guides, and is especially involved in our document imaging process.
