PT 528 - Musculoskeletal I
(4 cr.) This course builds upon information taught in the foundational sciences and is designed to provide the physical therapy major with the knowledge and skills to perform a best practice clinical examination on individuals with musculoskeletal dysfunctions in the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip and knee regions of the body. Given examination findings for stated patients, students are able to: 1) generate a best practice diagnosis, prognosis and plan of care; 2) instruct in best practice therapeutic exercise; and 3) perform basic manual skills.
