ED 550 - Issues and Research in Education
(3 cr.) This course introduces pre-service teachers to some of the primary genres of educational research: action-based qualitative, theoretical and quantitative. In addition, the course begins to help students understand what constitutes good educational research and to recognize the link between theory and practice. Finally, the course helps students develop the tools and mindset of a teacher-researcher to help them become truly reflective practitioners.
