I am entering my sixth year as Distinguished Professor of Dispute Resolution Law from Practice after a lengthy legal career involving private, government and corporate practice. I have been heavily involved in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in numerous capacities for more than twenty years: as an advocate, neutral (both mediator and arbitrator) systems designer, writer, trainer and teacher. My emphasis at Quinnipiac involves providing students with insights in both ADR theory and practice, acquired from substantial hands on experience. Additionally, I am involved in several outreach programs providing ADR support from the law school to the bar, the courts and the community.
