I am Director of Engineering Technology Services at Quinnipiac University. I have been at Quinnipiac since October 2002, when I was hired as Desktop Support Manager. I was promoted to Associate Director of Client Services in 2007 and then to Director of Client Services in 2009. In each of these roles provided leadership for the Information Services division responsible for technical support and services to faculty, staff and students using computers (PC & Mac), mobile devices , lab and audiovisual equipment. I managed a staff of qualified support specialists, met regularly with key users and participated on institutional committees. In addition to daily operations, fiduciary responsibility included student worker payroll and faculty/student laptop initiatives. In 2014 I was appointed Director of Information Services Operations. Immediate priorities of this position were to maintain relationships with key constituencies, reevaluate the faculty and student laptop initiatives, deploy recently purchased software asset management system and work with the CIO to codify a strategic plan. In the Fall of 2014 I was assigned the role of Director of Engineering Technology Services and am now working with the Associate Dean of Engineering and the Engineering faculty as they progress to becoming an ABET certified School of Engineering.
