LAWS 348 - Advanced Law & Medicine
(2 cr.) This course will provide for in-depth study of issues related to reproductive issues. It is anticipated that both classic and new cases will be discussed, as will some pending cases and legislation. Topics to be discussed are likely to be the right to marry; contraception; abortion; forced sterilization and sterilization in lieu of incarceration; surrogate motherhood; frozen embryos; cloning; homosexuality; etc. Other topics related to reproduction and of interest to the students may also be considered.
