GT 292 - Internship in Elderly Services
(3 cr.) The student devotes eight hours a week to work in a public or private agency that provides services to the elderly and one hour a week in conference with the instructor. The student learns how an organization works, its relation to other programs serving the elderly, and the problems it encounters in meeting the needs of the elderly. Enrollment, limited to majors, requires a high standard of attendance and responsibility from the student. For majors only, junior or senior year. Prerequisite: GT 263 or SO 263; Every Year, All
