PT 671 - Clinical Education I
(4 cr.) A 8-10 week clinical internship increases the student's clinical skills. Students progress from fine tuning of clinical skills and comprehension of their role as part of the health care provider team to demonstration of entry-level skills, professionalism and exploring clinical areas of special interest. Variable individual clinical internships allow students to pursue in-depth practice in areas of interest or gain a wide variety of clinical experiences. The philosophy of the physical therapy program is to expose students to a great variety of clinical experiences while allowing them to gain additional experience in an area of interest.
