BIO 106 - (UC) Science and Society: Concepts and Current Issues
(3 cr.) This course introduces natural science to the nonscientist with an emphasis on problems confronting society. Current health and scientific issues in the news are emphasized to help students recognize the importance of science in their daily lives. This course is designed for nonscience majors. May not be taken for credit concurrently or after completion of BIO 161. Must be taken in conjunction with BIO 106L. Prerequisite: BIO 106L; Every Year, Spring
