IER 491 - Research Project in Industrial Engineering
(3 cr.) Students work individually or in teams to integrate the concepts and techniques learned in previous industrial engineering courses to solve a current problem. Subject to approval from the course and program directors, students may select their own project topic, or choose one that is compatible with ongoing research or within the industrial engineering program. Students coordinate with a faculty mentor who can assist in scoping the project and directing the research effort. The course culminates with a student presentation and a written report. Requires approval of faculty member. Every Year, Fall and Spring
