ANE 554 - Patient Monitoring
(3 cr.) This course covers the fundamental principles of measurement; measuring adequacy of perfusion, the principles, application and interpretation of various monitoring modalities including: ECG, invasive and noninvasive blood pressure, oximetry, temperature, cardiac output, respiratory gas analysis, monitoring the breathing circuit and the lungs. Additional topics include intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring, renal function, coagulation/hemostasis and neuromuscular junction. Every Year, Fall
