FIN 355 - Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits
(3 cr.) This course provides students with an understanding of the retirement planning process. The main objectives are to learn the usefulness of retirement plans and employment-based benefits, and to develop recommendations on important retirement and employee benefit decisions. Topics include: Social Security, qualified retirement plans, nonqualified retirement plans, self-employed plans, IRAs, group life insurance, group disability insurance and group health insurance. Prerequisite: FIN 201; Every Other Year, Spring
