PT 504 - Physical Therapy Process II
(2 cr.) This course is a continuation of the material covered in PT 503. Additional tests and measures commonly employed by the physical therapist are introduced. Study topics include range of motion and manual muscle testing of the lower extremities and spine. Students are introduced to the Guide to Physical Therapist's Practice and explore its use in the selection of appropriate tests and measures for evaluating various patient problems. They begin to learn how to apply therapeutic exercise. This course also includes units on posture, skin, sensory and chest evaluation. Continued emphasis is on problem solving. Every Year, Spring
