Prof. Sacco graduated from Rutgers University in 2006 with a Ph.D. and a graduate certificate in Women's Studies. Her research focus is on gender and American politics, and she studies questions of representation. At Quinnipiac, she is the director of the Women's and Gender Studies Program. She co-hosts an annual training workshop called "Start Smart," which teaches women how to negotiate their salaries to help to close the gender wage gap.
