Jim Abrams serves as a Judge of the Connecticut Superior Court and has taught Communications Law at Quinnipiac since 2006. He earned his Juris Doctor degree with honors from UConn Law School and a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Trinity College. Prior to his appointment to the bench, he was an attorney in private practice. He also served ten years as a State Representative in the Connecticut General Assembly and as Corporation Counsel for the City of Meriden. He served as President of the Connecticut Judges Association and as a member of the Commission on International Education of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
