PT 512 - Human Anatomy I
(4 cr.) This is the first course in a two-course study of human anatomy. Dissection and presentation of the human body using a regional approach provides the foundation for introducing clinical anatomy with a strong emphasis on structure/function relationships. This course teaches the anatomy of the upper extremity, back, head and neck. Each unit begins with the study of joint structure followed by muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Clinical correlations of musculoskeletal or neuromuscular pathologies are presented to develop problem-solving skills. Prerequisite: BIO 211, BIO 212; Every Year, Fall
