The Office of Financial Aid receives notification of various scholarships that are awarded by organizations other than the School of Law. These organizations have their own application and selection criteria for awarding private funds. Scholarships vary in amount and criteria and students are responsible for all application, renewal and disbursement paperwork. 

Current Students

Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association Scholarship
The Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association will award up to five $2,000 non-renewable scholarships to current law students, for the 2016-2017 academic year. Applicants do not need to be of Hispanic heritage, but must have a demonstrated commitment to the Latino community. Mark T. Banner Scholarship
The Richard Linn American Inn of Court will award the Mark T. Banner Scholarship for the 2017-2018 academic year. The $5,000 non-renewable scholarship will be awarded to a current law student who will be enrolled in the fall 2017 semester and is interested in pursuing a career in Intellectual Property law.
