NUR 640 - Special Topics in Adult and Geriatric Psychopharmacology
(1 cr.) The perspective of psychiatric neuroscience addresses the actions and interactions of drugs on the brain, the impact in the central nervous system, and interprets the behavioral consequences of psychiatric medications. Common psychiatric medications seen with adults and geriatric patients in primary care settings are considered. A holistic approach to adult and geriatric patients is emphasized.
