About the Library

study carrels and seating in the library
The Edward and Barbara Netter Library at the Center for Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences is the primary library for the schools of medicine, nursing, and health sciences. The library is open to all members of Quinnipiac University as well as to visitors.

Faculty, staff, and students can access electronic resources both within the library and remotely, while visitors have access to most resources from computers located within the library only. The collection includes databases, books, journals, and a variety of videos for patron use. All titles in the collection, including course reserves, are cataloged and searchable.

The librarians offer a variety of additional services including one-on-one research consultation and curriculum support through our liaison program. They work directly with the schools to develop a customized information literacy curriculum based on the individual research needs.

The library is equipped with 17 public computer workstations, printers, scanners, copiers, study carrels and plenty of soft seating. Large windows offer spectacular views of the North Haven Campus. There is wireless Internet access throughout the library.
