All presenters at the conference are asked to become members of the North American Society for Social Philosophy (NASSP) in order to appear on the program. All attending are encouraged to join the NASSP and sign up for Social Philosophy Today, which will include papers from this year's conference. NASSP membership can be purchased or renewed on the NASSP website.
Friday Evening Banquet
The conference will host a banquet on the evening of Friday, July 12. Guests are welcome. If you wish to attend the banquet please register by July 1 in order to ensure your place. The banquet cost is $35 per attendee.
Below is a list of area hotels in which rooms have been blocked for the nights of July 10, 11, 12 and 13. You will need to contact these hotels by phone to book your room at the conference rate. Daily shuttle service will be provided to and from Quinnipiac for the convenience of conference attendees.

It is possible to stay in University housing on the Mount Carmel Campus where the conference sessions will be held. All residence hall accommodations are in apartments for six people, with one shared bathroom and three 2-person bedrooms. You have the option to share a room with one other person or occupy a double room independently.
Shared room: $18 per night
Double room: $36 per night
Please note that you will need to bring your own pillow, sheets, blanket and towels if staying in University housing.
Parking, Shuttle Service and Public Transit
Quinnipiac University will have plenty of free parking during the summer months.
Daily shuttle service will be available at each of the participating hotels to and from Quinnipiac's campus for conference attendees in need of transportation.
Quinnipiac University's Mount Carmel Campus is accessible via CT Transit. View the J bus weekday and weekend schedules between Mount Carmel and New Haven.

From Union Station in New Haven
Bus Information: http://cttransit.com/ -- Union Station provides free weekday shuttles to the New Haven Green at Chapel St. in New Haven. From the Green, buses are available on the JW line to the corner of Whitney and Mount Carmel Ave., which is just a quarter mile walk from the University campus.
Metro Taxi Information: http://www.metrotaxict.com/rates.htm -- 203-777-7777. Taxis from the train station to Hamden will cost about $30-40.
