Alumni pose with during Quinnipiac Reunion 2015

Reunion 2015 Recap

Hundreds of alumni, family and friends came back to Quinnipiac on June 19-21, 2015, for Reunion 2015.

On Friday evening, the festivities commenced with a whiskey tasting, strolling supper, music, dancing and the ever popular photo booth at the Reunion Kick-off Sunset Cocktail Reception at the Rocky Top Student Center. Guests were treated to a picture-perfect night on the patio and spectacular views of Hamden, New Haven and Long Island.

On Saturday, men's and women's tennis alumni gathered on the Mount Carmel Campus for alumni tennis matches and to honor longtime coach Mike Quitko, who retired in 2014. In the afternoon, hundreds gathered on the quad for May Weekend Remembered, a family-friendly picnic with food trucks, bounce houses, field games and a beer garden featuring some of Connecticut's top craft breweries. Both DJ George Dickerson '81 and local band "Fear the Crash," featuring Mark Santino '91, kept the crowd entertained as they danced between rain drops.

In the evening, members of the Class of 1965 and prior celebrated Reunion 2015 at the Golden Bobcats Dinner, where alumni celebrating their 50th reunion received their Golden Bobcats Blankets and 50 year pins, as they were honored as the newest members of the Golden Bobcats.

As Saturday drew to a close, alumni took a "Trip Down Whitney Lane" when they were shuttled from Quinnipiac to their favorite Hamden hotspots: Aunt Chilada's, Side Street, Andale and Eli's on Whitney.

A limited number of Reunion 2015 t-shirts and commemorative plastic pint glasses remain for purchase. Order yours before they sell out!
