Scholarships + Grants

Quinnipiac University Scholarships
Quinnipiac University's Graduate Merit scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to a select number of newly admitted full-time (non-online) graduate students who demonstrate exceptional promise of achieving academic excellence.

These scholarships will cover a portion of the tuition and are offered to full-time students who are entering the following programs:

Business Administration - MBA Nurse Practioner
Cardiovascular Perfusion Pathologists' Assistant
Journalism Physician Assistant
Medical Laboratory Science Public Relations
Molecular and Cell Biology Radiologist Assistant
  Social Work

Candidates are evaluated based on academic potential in their chosen graduate degree field, as found evident by academic and related performance to date.  A scholarship committee based on the Program Director's recommendations during the Admissions application process determines eligibility. Candidates interested in the Merit scholarship are encouraged to apply early in the Admissions application process.  Every admitted full-time applicant is considered for the scholarship and recipients are determined no later than March 15 for Summer or July 15 for Fall.  Due to limited funding, these scholarships are not available to international students. Scholarships are renewable as long as students maintain full-time enrollment and a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 each semester.

Graduate Grants
The University offers a limited number of institutional grants for our full-time on-ground programs.  The grant is a one-time non-renewable award. To be considered students must show financial need as demonstrated by the FAFSA and the NeedAccess application.  Based on the applicants from 2015-16 over 48% of the eligible applicants received some grant assistance.

For details on the application information visit the "Applying for Financial Aid" section of our website.
