During this portion of the day, people are able to grab free T-shirts, bucket hats, visors, and more and listen to the first ever opening ceremony for the new annual tradition Bobcat Day. Individuals will get a sneak peak of the day, learn of what’s to come in future years, and hear about the process of bringing the day to life. At the end of the ceremony, the Bobcat Day banner will be revealed for the first time.

This portion of the day aims to honor Quinnipiac’s history, past, present, and future. Hear straight from SGA and campus-wide student leaders about Quinnipiac and what it means to truly be a Bobcat. Presentations range from discussions about what it truly means to be an institution on indigenous land, to discussions regarding our student body creed and its true meaning. This portion of the event will be held on the library steps.

Come out an enjoy a paint party in CCE101, with a themed painting competition and performances to begin and end the session! The paintings will be judged if you choose to paint within one of the themes, and the winners will receive prizes!
Bobcats will be able to compete in a variety of trivia games and bingo rounds, both in-person and virtually, in order to obtain some amazing prizes! Prizes will be awarded in exchange for participation in the in-person events, and for all those who attend in-person and virtually, prizes will be available that range from small stuffed animals to TV’s, four-foot teddy bears, and more.

Bobcats can enjoy a livestream of the final round of the Pitch competition sponsored by People’s United Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Bobcats are able to stop by CCE and enjoy a virtual country concert in CCE on a jumbo screen. The virtual concert will last an hour, and individuals who attend in-person will receive prizes and gear upon entry. Individuals are able to come to CCE101 to grab goodie bags and glow sticks for the performance.
