Student writes messages of hope on marker board

March 15 marks one year since we announced students would not return to our campuses for the rest of the spring semester.

These last 365 days have been long. They have been hard, and often, profoundly sad. They have challenged us to draw on our inner strength and resilience, on the comfort we derive from others and from the support we provide each other.

To mark this challenging year, the QU community is invited to come together on Monday at 11:45 a.m. on the Mount Carmel quad to acknowledge the pain and sadness of this year, to reconnect our Bobcat family and to look forward with optimism to the brighter days that lie ahead.

Our religious leaders, campus leadership, faculty, staff and students will join together for a short observance. Message boards will be placed on the Mount Carmel quad and in the North Haven Dining Hall to share your stories of hope and resilience.
