Join us for a play reading by award winning playwright and screenwriter, Steve Driffin. This powerful play depicts the life encounters, trauma and micro aggressions of Black and Brown men who have been historically and culturally silent about the pain they endure living in their skin in America.

This event is made possible by generous funding from the Intellectual and Cultural Event Fund within the College of Arts and Sciences and is sponsored by the office of the vice president for equity, inclusion, and leadership development, the Department of Cultural and Global Engagement, and the Theater program at Quinnipiac.

There will be a talk back following the reading, facilitated by the Department of Cultural and Global Engagement.

Please Note
  • This event will take place on the Mount Carmel Campus (Buckman Theater) not the Theatre Arts Center.

  • All audience members will be required to show proof of vaccination and wear a mask at all times while in the theater.

  • Actors will perform without masks. They are vaccinated and will have produced negative COVID tests.
