Emmy-Award Winning Dawnland

Join us for an evening screening of Dawnland, which explores the devastating impact the removal of Native children from their homes had on Wabanaki communities in Maine. The film seeks to reveal the cultural, emotional, and financial truth behind the child welfare crisis. Following the screening, there will be a Q&A session with Chris Newell (Passamaquoddy), Director of Education for the Akomawt Educational Initiative and Senior Advisor for the Enmy-award winning documentary Dawnland. This event is free and open to the public.
