We will be celebrating Holi, which is the festival of color that shows enjoyment in the environment around us. Appropriately for a festival of many colors, Holi has no singular significance. Instead, it’s tied to an array of stories from Indian mythology. One of the most popular is that of good overcoming evil in the guises of Prince Prahlad and the demon Holika. During this event, we will participate in many Holi traditions, like enjoying food and, most importantly, throwing colored powder at one another. This is where the Holladay gets its name, "the festival of color" for this event, we will need the tables requested as well as an extension cord because we will be hiring a DJ for this event. The tables will be used to place the food as well as the colored powder that is traditionally used for holi
