For over a century, Colleges and Universities did not have a federally mandated approach to gender-based misconduct or inequality. Fifty years ago, in 1972, following the Civil Rights Act, the federal government implemented a national standard for sex discrimination on college campuses known as Title IX. Join us for a conversation celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Title IX, and come share your thoughts about recent developments to this richly diverse law. Dennis Kwarteng, Title IX Coordinator and Sarah Hellyar, Civil Rights and Title IX Investigator will be facilitating.
