Implicit bias is defined as the subconscious attitudes, perceptions and stereotypes that influence our understanding, actions and behavior when interacting with various identities. We all have bias, and this inclusive conversation invites the QU community to understand how implicit bias, stereotypes and microaggressions affect our daily interactions. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on the bystander effect and intervention, and intentional ways we can acknowledge our biases in the decision-making process.
