Screening of "On Sacred Ground"

This is the first full-length film about the civil resistance by the Standing Rock Sioux to the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline across their lands in 2016; themes of the film cover environmental activism, Native sovereignty and nonviolent protest and movements. Hosts include the Indigenous Student Union, Students for Environemental Action, and the Albert Schweitzer Institute. This is brought as part of QU Earth Week 2023.
