The Thurgood Marshall awards are given in honor of the first African-American to be appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court. Each year, BLSA recognizes outstanding people in law, education or politics who exemplify Marshall’s dedication to improving society through the advancement of civil rights, civil liberties and human rights. Please join us for our reception in the Law Library Nave at 6:00 PM and for the award ceremony in the Ceremonial Courtroom at 7:00 PM.
