Chris Ward

Assistant Teaching Professor of Film, Television, and Media

Chris Ward teaches in the Film, Television and Media Arts program at Quinnipiac University. His directed documentary films have screened at Dok Leipzig, Big Sky, Boston Independent and Imagine Science Film Festivals, among others. Before moving to Connecticut, Chris lived in San Francisco and Los Angeles where he worked in a variety of film crew roles, including the sound and camera departments of films and shows featured on Showtime, Netflix and PBS. In 2016, he graduated from the Documentary Film and Video program at Stanford University.

Chris has taught at Ventura College, Loyola Marymount University and UCLA Extension. In the Fall of 2019, Chris will be the Creative in Residence at the New Haven Free Public Library, running workshops and designing media projects for the greater New Haven community.
