My name is Eunhea (Grace) You, PhD, RN as an assistant professor at QU. I have more than 10 years teaching experience at universities. In Quinnipiac University, I have taught NUR 302: Nursing Sci & Info Lit, NUR 300: Core Concepts Nursing, NUR 514: Epidemiology/Population Health, NUR 340L: Holistic Nurs Integ Lab II, and NUR 454: Nursing Capstone.
I have more than 15 years of nursing clinical experience. I worked at med/surge, neuro stepdown, telemetry, rehab, home care, oncology and as school nurse.
I got 5 grants and submitted one to NIH this year. I have published 6 manuscripts, one book chapter, one national manual, and 4 slide decks as educational immunization materials for nursing faculty at CDC. I have presented many podium and poster presentations at conferences such as Sigma conferences.
My long-term research goal is to prevent human disease and promote public health by combining Western and Eastern medical treatments. I believe that this kind of approach or research would be practical, useful, and worth pursuing for the better care of people. My short-term research interest is to extend my PhD research using alternative medicine interventions to treat patients with pain.
