By conducting at least 1 national survey every 2 weeks, the Quinnipiac University Poll is the most active poll of its kind in the country, requiring a staff of industry-leading experts to ensure each survey's accuracy and integrity. Our 11 full-time professional staff members include media veterans, survey analysts, and Dr. Douglas Schwartz, who is responsible for the methodology and all aspects of the survey process. The polling team works together on each project from conception through analysis and information presentation.
For a typical public opinion survey, a randomly selected sample of about 1,000 registered voters is interviewed over 5 or 6 days. The polls are conducted from 2 state-of-the-art polling centers close to our Mount Carmel and York Hill campuses. Interviewing jobs are available to Quinnipiac students interested in learning the art and science of survey research.
It is this combination of expert staff, committed student interviewers and research methodology that allows us to continuously stay front and center with information on today’s hottest and most debated topics.
