uinnipiac is a great college to work for, according to a new survey by The Chronicle of Higher Education, a top trade publication for colleges and universities. The results were released in The Chronicle’s 10th annual report on The Academic Workplace.
Only 79 institutions achieved “Great College to Work For” recognition, and Quinnipiac is also among only 42 colleges and universities to achieve Honor Roll status for scoring well across multiple categories of best practices. Results are reported for small, medium and large institutions, with Quinnipiac included among the medium universities with 3,000 to 9,999 students. Quinnipiac won honors in eight categories this year: Compensation & Benefits; Facilities, Workspace & Security; Professional/Career Development Programs; Respect and Appreciation; Supervisor/Department Chair Relationship; Teaching Environment (Faculty Only); Tenure Clarity & Process (Faculty Only/4-year Only); and Work/Life Balance.
