Men’s basketball vs. Stony Brook

Ornament give-away and visit with Santa

People's United Center

Fans of Quinnipiac men's basketball are encouraged to attend the game and visit with Santa Claus. The first 500 fans will receive a free Quinnipiac holiday ornament with ticket purchase.

The entertainment department of Q30 hosted its yearly Holiday Hottie competition. Contestants competed in a male beauty pagent.

Tri Delta Ornament Decorating Sisterhood Event

The ornament-decorating sisterhood event helped students celebrate the holiday season. Sisters decorated ornaments and traded them at the end of the event.

Alpha Phi Omega Candygram Fundraiser

Alpha Phi Omega sold candygrams this holiday season. Each candy bag could be written out for someone special and was delivered over the weekend. Proceeds benefit future service projects to our campus and community.

This event was for students with and without disabilities to come together during the holidays to celebrate the holiday spirit. It featured music, food, and arts and crafts.

Each guest or group contributes a different, homemade dish of food. It was an opportunity for students to come together and learn more about each other and various cultures.

Club Hole in the Wall Candy Cane Fundraiser

Club Hole in the Wall hosted a fundraising event to benefit the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp provides a different kind of healing to more than 20,000 seriously ill children and family members annually — at no cost. In efforts to support this cause and bring awareness one of the newest clubs at Quinnipiac, students sold candy cane "grams" in the student center and delivered them to students living on campus.

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Holiday Fundraiser

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren is an organization that assists grandparents who have stepped in to care for a child when the child's own parents are absent or incapable of doing so. This fundraiser is to help these grandparents be able to buy presents for their grandchildren, who otherwise may not receive any gifts during the holidays. Money collected will be used to purchase gift cards for these families.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to write a wish for the holidays. For every wish written, Macy's will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish!
