Federal Work Study (FWS) Program

Work | Paycheck, 6-10 hours per week | Quinnipiac University

The Federal Work Study (FWS) Program provides part-time employment opportunities for undergraduates with demonstrated financial need. However, while students are granted a certain amount of work-study in their offer notification, they are not guaranteed a job. Students need to secure their own positions and may search available opportunities via the MyQ Student Employment portal.

Typically, more than 1,000 students work 6 to 10 hours a week at various departments around campus. All students earn minimum wage or higher. The amount you earn can’t exceed your total Federal Work-Study award.
