Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduate nursing education broadens the scope of practice and provides for the acquisition of expertise in an area of specialization. Students prepare for leadership roles in advanced specialty practice, nursing leadership and organizational management. The DNP program at Quinnipiac University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
The doctoral-level graduate program is available to students who hold either a bachelor's or master's degree.

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
The master of science in nursing program broadens the scope of practice and provides for the acquisition of expertise in an area of specialization as either family nurse practitioners or adult-gerontology nurse practitioners. This education is directed toward preparing students to manage clients of diverse cultural backgrounds in various multidisciplinary settings and promotes traditional as well as complementary approaches appropriate to client care.
Master of Science in Nursing in Operational Leadership (online)
The online master of science in nursing in operational leadership was designed to prepare practicing nurses with the advanced skills needed to function as effective team leaders.
