Our online MS in Business Analytics program produces such data-driven leaders capable of storing, managing, analyzing and presenting data effectively to fuel better business decisions and facilitate major growth.
The program explores the practical qualitative and quantitative skills that serve as the foundation to sound decision making. Course work is designed to deliver a number of in-demand skills that you can immediately apply to your current career, including data management, data warehousing, text and data mining, visualization and predictive modeling. The program culminates with an experiential capstone that challenges you to apply these skills to solve a business challenge of your choice.
Upon completion of your master’s, you also will be awarded a Certificate in Business Analytics using SAS. This credential will strengthen your resume as a business intelligence professional, and will qualify you to pursue any of the official SAS Certification exams to further differentiate yourself.

Additional elective business courses are available to students at the discretion of the program director.
To be admitted to the program, an applicant must have:
- An undergraduate degree with a GPA of at least 3.0 from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning
- An undergraduate major, graduate degree or other significant course work in a quantitatively oriented area, such as mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, computer science, engineering, operations management, accounting, finance, economics or the natural sciences
Work experience and/or significant prior course work in statistics and analytics is strongly considered in the admission process. Standardized test scores (such as GMAT or GRE) submitted by the students in support of the application also are considered, but are not required.
Please note that admission is competitive and that meeting the minimum admission standards does not guarantee acceptance. Applications are considered on a rolling basis, and students may apply to enter during the fall or spring semesters. Candidates are encouraged to submit applications as early as possible to ensure consideration for the semester desired. Applications are evaluated once all materials and fees are received by Quinnipiac. Students can expect to receive a decision within four weeks of submitting a completed application.
