Program of Study
The Graduate Certificate in Social Media requires completion of 9 credits. Those who are at the beginning of their professional experience should take ICM 522 first.

To qualify for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Social Media program, a student must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
The School of Communications accepts applications for the fall, spring and summer semesters. Please note that the admissions committee will review an application once it is complete with all supporting documents.
A complete application consists of the following:
- Completed application form
- $45 application fee
- Updated resume
- Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended, which should also reflect the date of degree conferral from the bachelor’s degree program
