Program Overview

The Advertising and Public Relations Minor enables students to craft a program of study that aligns with their skills and career interests, whether that's geared toward social media strategy, design and copywriting, branding and media planning or corporate communications and reputation management.

Across a variety of courses, students will how to breathe new life into old brands, write crisp copy, leverage interactive media and plan for effective dissemination across all channels. This program perfectly complements a number of majors inside and outside of the School of Communications, including marketing, political science and journalism.
