Ice Hockey

The Quinnipiac club ice hockey team has been student-governed for years and was recently affiliated with the university. The team plays in the Empire Conference of the Collegiate Hockey Federation (CHF). The CHF is a non-varsity league with more than 125 teams and several conferences that span the majority of the East Coast and Midwest. Since joining the CHF, the team has been ranked in the top 10 and has received a bid to the national tournament every year. The season spans from September to March and consists of two practices and about two games per weekend. Annual tryouts are held in the first few weeks of the fall semester to pick the roster.
