(3 cr.) This course examines the legislative, administrative and judicial responses to environmental problems. Students primarily focus on the major federal environmental statutes, including the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, and protections for endangered species and wilderness. Students also evaluate common law remedies, state environmental protections, and major international environmental issues, including climate change. Every Year, All
