(3 cr.) This course addresses the theory and practice of strategic management and organizational behavior in a global environment with a specific emphasis on international human resource management. The understanding of cultural differences is a major emphasis of this course. The course also addresses cross-cultural communication, selection and management of expatriates, and global leadership skills. In addition, this course introduces the students to the reading and interpreting of international management research articles and highlights some of the special challenges related to conducting and interpreting cross-cultural research.
