(3 cr.) This course reviews and evaluates recent developments in positive psychology. Historical foundations are discussed, including the work of William James and Abraham Maslow. Research on resilience, positive coping and post-traumatic growth are covered, as well as topics such as gratitude, forgiveness, compassion, happiness and mindful meditation.
