Employment Law Externship

(2 cr.) Employment and labor law is practiced in private firms, corporate offices, nonprofit entities, and government agencies at the state and federal level. Depending on the type of placement, students work on behalf of employees or employers on a wide range of employment and labor topics, including discrimination claims, wage issues, unemployment matters, and labor contract negotiations and arbitrations. (Pre- or co-requisites: Employment Law and/or Labor Law are recommended) (3 to 6 credits)
